Arrive at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport (2,355m). Meet your Find Ethiopia Tours expedition director at the arrivals hall and transfer to your hotel. Begin your cultural immersion with a guided visit to the National Museum of Ethiopia to view the 3.2-million-year-old hominid fossil 'Lucy' (Dinknesh) and ancient Aksumite artifacts. Ascend to Mount Entoto (3,200m) for panoramic views over the eucalyptus-covered capital and visit the historic palace of Emperor Menelik II. In the evening, gather for a festive welcome dinner featuring a wide spread of traditional injera stews, live folk music, and an authentic clay-pot coffee ceremony.
