Begin your journey with a flight from Addis Ababa to Semera, then drive through the Afar Region toward Hamed Ela, stopping at Lake Afdera for a refreshing swim and lunch. From Hamed Ela, continue exploring the dramatic landscapes of the Danakil Depression expedition, known for its otherworldly salt flats and volcanic scenery. After the visit, you will return to the base camp for breakfast. After breakfast, you'll start your journey back to Semera. You'll arrive in Semera for a late lunch, followed by a drop-off at the airport back to Addis Ababa.
